Thursday, 14 June 2007: Focus of Drilling Switched to Adelaide Fold Belt Copper Targets
ABSTRACT: Copper Range has completed the second of its drill holes in the Olympic Domain (Eastern Gawler Block) in South Australia, where the Company is seeking iron oxidecopper-gold-uranium (IOCGU) deposits. The hole (PCDDH1) tested the ‘Pepita’ target, a subtle gravity feature in the Company’s Pernatty ‘C’ tenement. After drilling through sedimentary cover of siltstones and sandstones, the hole intersected basement granite at a depth of 386.5m. The hole terminated at 594m in granite.
