Monday, 09 October 2006: CRJ announces Exploration Update

• Drilling under a PACE approved 2,000m programme commenced on 12 September on the Birthday Prospect at Wirrawilka, within the Worumba EL. 3450.

• This initial programme is nearing completion, with Hole 29 being drilled today.

• Visible copper mineralisation is evident in many of the holes, both as oxide and sulphide.

• Batched samples have been sent off at regular intervals for assaying. Initial assay results are expected mid October.

• Further native title clearances were conducted this weekend which will enable drill testing of other targets at Wyacca, within EL 3492 also in the Hawker Project area.

• Following the success of the initial detailed gravity survey over a portion of each of the Company’s tenements in August, detailed gravity surveying over the remaining parts of the tenements will start this week.
