Adelaide Fold Belt - Kapunda Project

A re-appraisal of historic data on the Kapunda mine and its immediate adjacent areas is being carried out. A database has been compiled to calculate an updated estimate of the remnant copper resources. On-going work includes re-logging and re-assaying of historic drill core and data entry of historic assay information.

Exploration activities over EL 3451 Kapunda North has delineated a number of prospects. The primary exploration focus is on the Illawarra prospect and a program of grid-controlled soil (+/- calcrete) sampling and mapping is underway within the site of the original discovery and along strike of the nearby NW-trending structure.
